I get 41ms ping over a public wifi connection that is being redirected by an old computer into an old wifi router and then caught by old wifi adapters!
Your internet connection is very bad, man. I have a A-grade “line” quality over an anonymously-shared wifi connection that is being routed!
I hooked up my old router and installed DD-WRT which made it 20 ms to it max. Mostly ~0.5 results though. On this same router, it had 500 ms before DD-WRT.
I seen a post you had on InsanelyMac forum and seen that you had a Dell Latitude E5500 running osx. I have the same laptop and was wondering what you used for IDT sound, video and wireless driver?
Sorry to post here but wasn’t sure how else to contact you. Thanks!
I think you have a crappy wireless adapter then. My ping times and speeds are the same either way.
every computer is the same at my house. I think it is the router is junk.

Thats wifi, but a new router made it 75% better. Also, new internet.

I don’t remember what I used. All I know is the video driver was a slightly modified GMA x3100 driver.
