Speed: Bryansoft vs Megabyet vs x-ind vs This VPS

Here is what I did:

• Install WordPress on the other hosts
• Install my theme on the other hosts
• Import my database on the other hosts
• Load each site once on all servers in Safari.
• Refresh the page on each server with Safari’s web inspector resource tracker active
• The time shown by this is figure used.

1. Megabyet: 0.93 seconds
2. The VPS: 1.02 seconds
3. Bryansoft: 1.49 seconds
4. x-ind: 1.66

Firefox showed about the opposite of this using the same steps but using the firebug extension instead.

1. x-ind: 1.05
2. The VPS: 1.08 seconds
3. Bryansoft: 1.7 seconds
4. Megabyet: 1.93 seconds

Note: x-ind’s database import did not work (both in phpmyadmin and the DirectAdmin one. Remote MySQL is blocked too.) so I had to use WordPress’s importer and try to match the settings as much as possible.
