When we updated to the new PHP version it killed EAccelerator and that killed PHP as a whole. We had to re-compile it to fix the issue. Curse my memory gaps!. Ah, I remember now. I tried to restrict the memory usage of Apache in WHM only for it to blow up in my face. At least, I'm pretty sure that was the reason. The only other thing I remember is when we switched the PHP handler and we had to update the .htaccess files on everyone. We also had some downtime for no apparent reason two weeks ago. Never did find out why, the error logs showed nothing. A quick reboot of HTTPD fixed the issue and the total downtime was less then thirty minutes then as well.
