OK... so I tried to go to the YAYMOVIES.COM website again... and it worked.. I think.
It didn't contain the information I needed but i expected it to be a hoax anyway!

My point is (on windows anyway), if you put in the host file fix AFTER you have already been to the offending website, you may want to either wait 10-20 mins before going to it again or possibly clear out your IE Cache.

I think that either my up stream ISP server's cached the page or my browsers cache did....
